The Triptych CD
The Triptych CD by Demon Hunter was published by Tooth and Nail in December 2005 and is our 16886th best seller. The ISBN for The Triptych CD is TND31606.
Demon Hunter's third album, "The Triptych," arrives this December. Produced by Aaron Sprinkle (Emery) and mixed by Machine (Lamb of God), the album will be available for a limited time with three different covers, each of them painted by Dan Seagrave (Morbid Angel).
"The Triptych" builds upon the band's heavy but melodic blueprint by infusing it with elements of the traditional metal the band grew up on. New songs include "Fire to My Soul" and "Not I."
"The Triptych" is Demon Hunter's follow-up to the hugely acclaimed "Summer Of Darkness," which generated the MTV2 "Headbanger's Ball" and Fuse TV staple "Not Ready To Die" (also featured on the soundtrack to "Resident Evil: Apocalypse"). Demon Hunter first emerged on the scene with their self-titled debut in the fall of 2002.
From the declaration of empowerment that is "Not I" to the steadfast determination of "The Soldier's Song" and the dynamic interplay of "Undying," this album is unmistakably Demon Hunter while also a nod to vintage mid-90s thrash.
Demon Hunter fills a void left by other seminal metal bands, infusing their crushing riffage with unashamed bursts of melodic power. "The Triptych" expands the blueprint further, looking to their past for the future, conjuring the bands they grew up on like Machine Head, Pantera and Sepultura.
